All drivers available for download have been scanned by antivirus program. The Intel(R) Desktop/Workstation/Server Express Chipset SATA RAID Controller device has one or more Hardware IDs, and the list is listed below. HWDrivers.com can always find a driver for your computer's device. Supported Intel® Chipsets and Controller Hubs. Mobile Intel® 965 Express Chipset Family. Intel® PCHM SATA RAID/AHCI controller hub; Intel® PCH SATA RAID. Intel 7 Series Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller; Intel 5 Series 6 Port SATA AHCI Controller; Intel Mobile Express Chipset SATA AHCI Controller. Also your specs specify that you do have the Intel® HM65 Express Chipset. There is no need to create a RAID with the driver I linked to it will work with both RAID and AHCI. It is the latest and it specifies in the inf file 'Intel(R) Mobile Express Chipset SATA AHCI Controller' which was posted in the OP.

Release note:
This is a hot fix release targeted to resolve the defects in the ‘Resolved Issues in 12.8.2.1000 Production Version release section.
The RST driver and user interface version is 12.8.2.1000
Known Issue is defined as a potential RST issue that has been replicated internally by the Rapid Storage Technology team but has not been root caused to be an RST defect.
For customers shipping with SSHD PUIS hybrid hinting enabled and Smart Connect Technology they must use iSCT agent 4.1.2308 or 4.2.2309 or later.
With SSHD +Smart connect Agent there are cases where the driver may be busy when the agent request the timer be extended which might result in a disk spinup. To work around this scenario and get the iSCT and SSHD functionality, it is advisable to set AoacTimeout to 60 sec where the current default value is 10 sec.

Depending on the SSHD vendor, customers utilizing SSHD + Smart Connect Agent may encounter more than expected SSHD spin-ups. Good spin suppression has been measured on at least one vendor’s SSHD when AOAC Timeout is set to 60 seconds. RST and Smart Connect Agent teams working with SSHD vendors on root causing the issue.
Hello, I'm doing a fresh install of Windows and would like to install the AHCI drivers beforehand I'd prefer not to do it the post windows installation way (changing the registry, etc.) I even bought a Microsoft specific compatible floppy drive to load the F6 drivers. I think I'm stuck at a certain point tho, I'm able to see a list of drivers for AHCI and RAID, but don't know which driver to install as there's more than one. Here they all are: Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology is designed to provide functionality for the following Storage Controllers: RAID Controllers: - Intel(R) Desktop/Workstation/Server Express Chipset SATA RAID Controller - Intel(R) Mobile Express Chipset SATA RAID Controller - Intel(R) ICH7MDH SATA RAID Controller - Intel(R) ICH7R/DH SATA RAID Controller AHCI Controllers: - Intel(R) 7 Series/C216 Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller - Intel(R) 7 Series Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller - Intel(R) Desktop/Workstation/Server Express Chipset SATA AHCI Controller - Intel(R) Mobile Express Chipset SATA AHCI Controller - Intel(R) 5 Series/3400 Series SATA AHCI Controller - Intel(R) 5 Series 4 Port SATA AHCI Controller - Intel(R) 5 Series 6 Port SATA AHCI Controller - Intel(R) ICH10D/DO SATA AHCI Controller - Intel(R) ICH10R SATA AHCI Controller - Intel(R) ICH9M-E/M SATA AHCI Controller - Intel(R) ICH7M/MDH SATA AHCI Controller - Intel(R) ICH7R/DH SATA AHCI Controller I chose the desktop/workstation/server express chipset but after windows was installed, I looked in device manager and there wasn't a sata controller present, If anyone could help me out with this, that would be great. Thanks
